Everyone deserves to have a smile that they are proud of! Unfortunately, not everyone is happy to show off their smile. For this reason, cosmetic dentistry procedures are gaining in popularity.

Cosmetic dentistry is the answer for anyone who is unhappy with the appearance of their smile, including their mouth and teeth.

Even though these procedures are considered elective, many times they also help with the function of your mouth including your speech and eating.

Here are some of the top cosmetic dental procedures that we perform.

    Teeth whitening

One of the most commonly requested procedures, teeth whitening done in a dental office can really make a difference to the color of your teeth.

While whitening done in our office is the quickest and easiest way to get whiter teeth, we also offer other options for those who prefer to whiten their teeth at home.

We have take-home trays that you can use, as well as disposable trays which is the most cost-effective way to a brighter smile.

    Inlays and onlays

These can also be called indirect fillings. Inlays are used when a tooth has too much decay and not enough structure left for a filling. The inlay, made in a dental laboratory, is placed right onto the tooth and dental cement is used to keep it in place.

Onlays are similar to inlays except they cover the entire surface of your tooth. Both inlays and onlays are made out of composite resin material and are used to strengthen your tooth.

The goal of inlays and onlays is to avoid any further decay or deterioration to your tooth.

    Composite bonding

Composite bonding is used to repair decayed and damaged teeth. However, your dentist must first drill out the decay. After that, he or she will apply material that is the same color of your tooth. After shaping it, he or she will cure the bonding material with a high-intensity light.

The Consumer Guide to Dentistry says that the goal of composite bonding is to cover the tooth so that it looks healthy. It is one of the cheapest forms of cosmetic dentistry for those who are unhappy with their teeth that are decayed and broken.

    Veneers

Veneers are bonded to the front of your teeth. They are thin protective shells that will change the appearance of your teeth. You can change the color, shape, size, or length of your teeth.

Veneers can be made of porcelain or resin composite materials. Many prefer porcelain because it looks more natural and resists stains.

    Six Month Smiles and Invisalign

Many adults are unhappy with their smiles, wishing that they had braces when they were younger. However, all hope is not lost. We offer both Six Month Smiles® and Invisalign invisible braces to give our patients straight smiles that they can be proud of, in just a few months!

    Smile Makeovers

A smile makeover takes state-of-the art dental procedures in order to give you a beautiful smile. Depending on your needs, after your initial consult, you may get veneers, inlays, onlays, dental implants, teeth whitening, and much more to give you the smile that you have always wanted!

Cosmetic dentistry might be the answer to your problems. An initial consult with our office will examine your mouth, along with your dental health, to determine how we can help you achieve the perfect smile.

You may only need one or two procedures or you may need an entire smile makeover!

We would be happy to discuss which procedures would be best for you so that you can finally be confident when you are smiling.

Contact us to help you get the smile that you deserve! We would be glad to discuss cosmetic dentistry to determine the best way to give you a beautiful and healthy smile.
